Hollywood legend and Icon Mickey Rooney passed away on Sunday at the age of 93. He literally did it all.
Born Joseph Yule Jr in Brooklyn, his parents included him in their vaudeville act when he was just 18 months old. Soon after he starred in almost 80 silent comedy shorts based on Fontaine Fox's popular comic strip series, Toonerville Trolley as the character, Mickey McGuire. He also headlined a series of films as Andy Hardy from from 1937 to 1946, and the attempted revival film released in 1958.
He had a bubbly, yet eccentric personality, Rooney personal life was equally fascinating He had eight wives, many vices and always said exactly
what was on his mind.

Rooney was nominated for four Oscars (The Black Stallion, The Bold and the Brave, The Human Comedy, Babes in Arms), with his first nod coming in 1940 and his last in 1980.
In recent years he cameoed in The Muppets and Night at the Museum. His final film role will be reprising his role as security guard Gus in Night at the Museum 3.
