In the novel, Jackson was a soldier from District 13's Squad 451. She's a sharpshooter whose farsighted vision allows her to shoot at distant objects without a scope.
Additionally the social media site broke news that Eugenie Bondurant has been cast as Tigris in the film.

In the book Tigris was once a prized stylist and is now a shopkeeper selling fur-lined clothes in a small shop in the Capitol. The shop's inventory consists of fur underwear and other under-clothes--She gave some to Katniss when she was hiding in her basement. Her appearance radically altered to resemble a tiger, she was presumably fired from her job for being far too altered to appear on television in the Games.
In the last film adaptation of the last book in author Suzanne Collins' trilogy-Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie is replacing actress Lily Rabe as the Commander Lyme the leader of the rebellion who hails from District 2. Like Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), Lyme was a victor of a past Hunger Games. Rabe had to drop out due to a scheduling conflict with her upcoming performance in Shakespeare in the Park for "Much Ado About Nothing" this summer in New York City.
Liam Hemsworth Josh Hutcherson Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks Robert Knepper, Natalie Dormer and Sam Claflin also star.
Multi-award-winning "Game Change" and "The Butler" writer Danny Strong and Peter Craig adapted the two-part finale.
Francis Lawrence returns to direct.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 opens November 21st 2014 while Part 2 hits November 20th 2015
