The film is about 1960s social psychologist Stanley Milgram (Sarsgaard) who designed the Obedience Experiments at Yale University.
Ryder will play one of Milgram’s students and his love interest.
Josh Hamilton, Jim Gaffigan, and Dennis Haysbert also star.
Michael Almereyda wrote and will direct the pic.
Uri Singer, Fabio Golombek Aimee Schoof and Isen Robbins will produce the feature film.
Production starts on June 5 in New York
