Keanu Reeves Will Learn "The Whole Truth"

Deadline reports that Keanu Reeves has now taken over the lead role in the courtroom thriller The Whole Truth. Reeves fills the vacancy two months after Daniel Craig unexpectedly dropped out of the pic.

The story follows a skilled defense attorney (Reeves) who fights to get his conflicted and emotionally tortured teenage client (Gabriel Basso, "The Kings of Summer") acquitted of murdering his wealthy father.

Renee Zellweger Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle) and The Wolf of Wall Street's Kenneth Choi were also pegged to star and are still in place.

Frozen River director Courtney Hunt is calling action from a script by Nicholas Kazan.

Anthony Bregman and Kevin Frakes will be producing the pic.

Filming is now slated to begin in July in New Orleans right after the Independence Day holiday
