The Boston Globe reports that Daniel Craig has abruptly left the courtroom thriller “The Whole Truth.” Production was to start next week in Boston.
The story follows a skilled defense attorney (Craig) who fights to get his
conflicted and emotionally tortured teenage client (Gabriel Basso, "The Kings of Summer") acquitted of
murdering his wealthy father.
The Globe, citing unnamed sources, said Craig pulled
out of the project over the weekend.
Renee Zellweger and The Wolf of Wall Street's Kenneth Choi were also pegged to star.
Frozen River director Courtney Hunt is calling action from a script by Nicholas Kazan.
Richard Suckle will be producing the pic.
Craig will begin shooting Bond 24 in the fall with the release set for October and November of 2015.
