Billy Bob Thornton Hovers Above "Our Brand Is Crisis"

Billy Bob Thornton is in talks to join the political comedy "Our Brand Is Crisis" says The Wrap.

Peter Straughan ("The Men Who Stare at Goats") wrote the adapted script based on Rachel Boynton's 2005 documentary that focused on the use of American political campaign strategies in Bolivia by President Bill Clinton's former consultants James Carville and Stan Greenberg.

Sandra Bullock will play 'Calamity' Jane Bodine, a retired American political consultant who quotes famous people to hammer home her talking points.

Thornton’s potential role are unknown at this time. Scoot McNairy also stars.
