Spider-Man Films: Felicity Jones On Playing Black Cat

While we wait for an official update regarding the proposed deal between Sony Pictures and Marvel for "Spider-Man" to start appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe-it's likely that the any of the previously discussed spin-off films including the Untitled Female Superhero Spider-Man Movie that Lisa Joy ("Burn Notice," "Westworld"). was hired to pen the script for back in August of last year.have been nixed.

Someone who could have been a part of that film was Felicity Jones ("The Theory of Everything") who had a cameo role as Felicia Hardy in Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2". In the comics, the character becomes the Black Cat.

 While chatting with Clevvver Movies recently, Jones was asked whether she would even be interested in reprising the role:

"Well, she’s such a great character in the comics. I mean, if that happened, that would be lovely. There are no plans, but I’d love to play her. She’s a fantastic, awesome female character."
