Making Dawn?

Oscar-winning director Bill Condon has emerged as the new frontrunner to direct the two-part pic The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, says Deadline New York.

The site says Summit Entertainment hasn’t signed him, but negotiations are underway after several strong meetings. Both films will be shot back-to-back starting this Fall.

Condon has been attached to direct an adaptation of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and the biopic Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said?

If the deal for 'Dawn' is set, it's likely both projects would have to wait.

Stay Tuned...
