Alessandro Nivola (”Junebug,” “Jurassic Park III”) has signed on to star in and produce the indie thriller "A Single Shot" reports Deadline.
Matthew F. Jones authored the original book and the script which centers on a poacher who finds himself on the run with a suitcase full of money, a target on his head and hardened killers on his tail.
Michael Fassbender was originally attached to play the lead role but dropped out due to his other commitments
Emily Mortimer, William H. Macy, Terrence Howard, Juliette Lewis, James Badge Dale and Juno Temple also star.
David Jacobson directs the film
Chris Coen, Aaron L. Gilbert and Keith Kjarval will produce when production kicks off in May
