Last week Hitman director Xavier Gens’told CBM what he would do if he were given the chance to helm a reboot of Daredevil

Now comes news that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade is in talks to develop and helm the pic according to Deadline.

No writer is yet attached at this time and the studio initially said it hopes to "continue the story begun by the 2003 Ben Affleck movie".

Affleck however will not be involved in the project.

Heat Vision is however suggesting this is more a reboot than a sequel as the storyline is said to be an adaptation of the critically acclaimed Born Again story arc.

In that series, the Kingpin learns the identity of the superhero and begin to systematically destroy his life.

In it's Director's Cut form the Mark Steven Johnson flick was much improved over the theatrical version-If they use Born as a starting point at least I know the script will most likely work in the hands of a great adapter
