The Hollywood Reporter was told by sources that the script for the long the talked about Ghostbusters III will be reworked--not scrapped--following the passing of co-star Harold Ramis.
Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver were all due to reprise their roles in the sequel with Ramis
Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II director Ivan Reitman plans on meeting with Sony Pictures in the next few weeks to discuss how the
film will move forward. And while “There will be some repercussions” due
to Ramis’ passing, “it won’t affect the script.”
The script was written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky wrote
the "excellent" with input from Dan Aykroyd, The plot is said to
revolve around Dana and Peter's lovechild, Oscar, and his new found job
as a "Ghostbuster" .
At the moment I kinda hope that this sequel doesn't get made...I just don't know--My heart's just not into this now....
