Spy Scribe

Mark Bomback will adapt the Ben Macintyre World War II spy novel "Agent Zigzag: A True Story of Nazi Espionage" into a feature reports Variety.



The story follows Edward Arnold Chapman, a career criminal who was trained by the Nazis to be a spy during the conflict. On a mission to sabotage an airplane factory in England, he contacted the Brits and began a life as a double agent.

Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman are producing.
