Movie Jungle reports that the basic cable net FX has picked up TV rights to broadcast the "Star Trek reboot pic..

After Trek has made the rounds in theaters, on Home Video, Pay Per View, and Premium cable --the flick lands on the channel with a four-year movie license.

FX could end up paying $24 million or 12% or so of the film's box office gross if the film hits the $200 million mark domestically which it will most likely accomplish.

The Summer '09 hit will begin showing on FX during the 2011 holiday season...

Not a surprise--the channel's been aggressively going after summer blockbusters since it lost out on Spider-Man in '02 to rival TBS.
