News Corporation is chatting with James Cameron about plans for an Avatar sequel says The Hollywood Reporter.
Company CEO Rupert Murdoch broke the story while on a quarterly earnings call on Tuesday that his conglomerate is in "very early talks about it" and "will be pushing for one".
Adding though do not "hold your breath for an early one".
Meanwhile we can expect the DVD before the end of the fiscal year on June 30 but it will not be a 3-D DVD release due to lagging technology. The 3-D disc release will happen down the road.
