Millar (pictured) quickly responded and denied the report on the forums of his official site
Millar also revealed over the weekend on his official site that he was offered the opportunity to pen X-4 but turned it down as he wants to "create the NEXT generation of superheroes over the next few years and going back would, I think, be a mistake".

Emmerich is currently set to direct the thriller thriller "Anonymous" while Smith is currently choosing between "The City That Sailed" or "Men in Black 3" as his next project.

Ackroyd weaves in more true-life historical elements, makes famed romantic poets of the era and incorporates Mary Shelley herself and the famed 1816 meeting that inspired the story.
Bonding With Daniel?
A seemingly very reliable source told Cinema Blend, that Rachel Weisz could be involved in Sam Mendes' Bond 23..
The role though would be the head of Quantum, the secret organization behind the various activities in the last two films. This would essentially make Weisz the rebooted Bond's equivalent of SPECTRE head Ernst Stavro Blofeld
Weisz is working with current Bond Craig on the upcoming Dream House and does know director Mendes.
It's confirmed that the first draft of the script by Peter Morgan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade is complete.
Yet casting rumors surrounding Bond are wel established and seem to get wilder with each passing film.
There are also quotes from Wiesz saying that she wants to be a Bond girl

Leterrier-A New Man?
The film version of "Y: The Last Man" seemed to just be collecting dust--Not any longer as Clash of the Titans director Louis Leterrier is circling the pic according to Latino Review.
Brian K. Vaughan created the original acclaimed graphic novel series which follows young amateur escape artist Yorick Brown and his pet monkey Ampersand, the last two men on Earth. Something simultaneously kills every mammal on Earth possessing a Y chromosome - including embryos, fertilized eggs, and even sperm.

Dragon's Lair
Gregg Kilday of THR
3D's rising star got another boost at the North American boxoffice this weekend as Paramount's release of DreamWorks Animation's "How to Train Your Dragon" flew to the top spot, and Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" held on to enough screens to emerge a solid number two.
Co-existing on the available 3D screens, "Dragon" bowed to an estimated $43.3 million, while "Alice," in its fourth weekend, lost 50% of its audience as it took in another $17.3 million.
MGM's "Hot Tub Time Machine," which relied on R-rated comedy instead of flashy effects, debuted more modestly as it collected $13.7 million.
Close behind was the second weekend of Sony's battling rom-com "The Bounty Hunter." The Jennifer Aniston-Gerard Butler teaming fell by just 40% as it brought in $12.4 million, bringing its domestic total to $38.8 million.
In fifth place, Fox's "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," also in its second weekend, declining by 55%, brought home $10 million as its cume rose to $35.8 million.
The "Dragon" launch provided further evidence of the appeal of 3D. The movie bowed in 4,055 locations, but ticket sales from its 2,178 3D theaters, a number that raised prices this weekend, accounted for 68% of the movie's weekend gross. Imax alone -- "Dragon" is playing in 185 Imax theaters -- contributed 11.5% of the gross, up from the 10.5% of gross that Imax theaters contributed to "Alice's" opening weekend. "That shows we're accumulating more fans as we go along with who chose Imax as a venue," said Greg Foster, president of filmed entertainment at Imax, which will be hosting "Dragon" for six weeks until "Iron Man 2" comes along.
"Dragon" didn't explode out of the gate like DreamWorks Animation's "Monsters vs. Aliens," which bowed to $59.3 million last March. But with a Cinemascore of A, and 97% positive reviews on the RottenTomatoes Web site, it should play well over the spring holidays.
Its opening weekend audience bridged the age gap: 49% of moviegoers were under 25, and 51% older. And it skewed slightly more female by 55%....

Ahead Of The Class
Deadline reports that Bryan Singer WILL NOT direct "X-Men: First Class" --but instead will produce the comic book prequel pic with Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg.
Singer's work on Jack the Giant Killer and Fox's seeming rush to get X:FC off the ground forced the move.
Fox is quite pleased with the script written by Jamie Moss from Singer's treatment that the studio wants the film sooner than it was expected-- they are now planning to have it ready for a 2011 release instead of 2012.
Let the helmer rumors begin...
Xerxes du Soleil
"Watchmen" director Zack Snyder thinks that "there's a really good chance that it will be the thing [I direct next]" regarding whether he will helm "Xerxes", an adaptation of Frank Miller's upcoming graphic novel which serves as a follow-up to his 300.
Snyder, spoke with Coming Soon "I didn't tell Frank what to write the first time, and I'm not telling him what to write this time. I'll take it and I'll adapt it and make it into a movie and I'll write a screenplay, but I want him to do whatever he thinks... [Miller is] supposed to show me something really soon, actually in the next few months."
Snyder added that Warner Bros.converted a section of the original "300" into 3-D to demonstrate the technology and that "they're talking about doing the whole movie", signaling a re-release could be happening down the road--translation the entire film will be converted.

The show will air its last original broadcast the weekend of August 14th 2010.
The statement from distributor Disney/ABC Domestic TV:
"After 24 seasons with us in national syndication, the highly regarded movie review show "At the Movies" (formerly known as "Siskel & Ebert" and "Ebert & Roeper") will air its last original broadcast the weekend of. This was a very difficult decision, especially considering the program's rich history and iconic status within the entertainment industry, but from a business perspective it became clear this weekly, half-hour, broadcast syndication series was no longer sustainable. We gratefully acknowledge the outstanding work of the program's current co-hosts A. O. Scott and Michael Phillips and top-notch production staff, and it is with heartfelt appreciation that we extend very special thanks to the two brilliant, visionary and incomparable critics that started it all, Roger Ebert and the late Gene Siskel"
As Roger Ebert Seeks Thumbs-Up for New At the Movies..

The 30AU were teams who specialised in various skills from safe cracking to unarmed combat which they used to undertake covert infiltrations into enemy territory to capture intelligence. They served as a precursor to many of the elite forces now operating in the field.
This pic is the first of a proposed trilogy."Age Of Honor" and "Age Of Glory" are already in early planning should 'Heroes' go well.
Vitoria calls action early next month in Norway.
Something Similar
Based on Emily Giffin's 2005 debut novel of the same name, the story centers on a single Manhattan attorney (Ginnifer Goodwin). This good-girl gets drunk on her 30th birthday and ends up sleeping with Dexter (the just cast Colin Egglesfield), the fiancé of her selfish best friend Darcy (Hudson).
As the mistake blossoms into a full-blown affair, she must decide between her life-long friend and the man of her dreams.
Most likely Hudson signed for the potential sequel should the film do well. "Something Blue", the second book in the series switches the focus to the Darcy character and how she tries to get her life back into balance after the betrayal.
John Krasinski has signed to play the girl's grade-school confidant Ethan, a supporting character in 'Borrowed' who becomes the male lead in 'Blue'.

Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Hilary Swank, Molly Smith, Aaron Lubin and Pamela Schein Murphy will be producing the pic.

Dragon Dictate
Gregg Kilday of THR
Moviegoers who just took off their 3D glasses after seeing "Alice in Wonderland" will put them back on again this weekend as Paramount unleashes DreamWorks Animation's "How to Train Your Dragon."
At the same time, MGM is hoping that other moviegoers will focus on its time-travel comedy "Hot Tub Time Machine," shifting attention from the embattled studio's current financial duress.
Based on a popular children's book, the first in a series by British author Cressida Cowell, "Dragon" recounts the PG adventures of a Viking teen who befriends a young dragon.
Directed by Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders -- the team behind the 2D "Lilo & Stitch" -- the movie makes full use of its 3D vistas as it flies on the backs of airborne dragons high above the Scandinavian fjords.
Back on earth, "Dragon" already has had to find its footing within the universe of existing digital 3D theaters.
Right now, there are 2,300-2,400 North American locations that can host the new wave of 3D movies; the number is increasing week by week as new sites come online. Some urban locations like New York even have 3D theaters that sit across the street from each other, which means no one film is likely to command all available 3D sites at any one time.
The flip side of the question is whether there is enough room for two or even three near-simultaneous 3D releases to co-exist successfully.
During the past three weekends, Disney's "Alice" has reigned atop the boxoffice, grossing more than $270 million domestically. Opening in 2,063 3D sites, it commanded the bulk of the available 3D locations as the run of Fox's "Avatar" began to wind down.
This weekend, "Dragon," positioned to take over the boxoffice's top spot, will elbow "Alice" off many of the 3D screens. The Paramount release is bowing in 4,055 theaters, and more than half of them -- 2,178 locations -- will offer 3D, including 185 Imax houses.
With 3D locations steadily expanding, though, "Alice" will continue to hold forth in 3,384 locations, including about 1,450 3D sites...
Nicole Sperling of EW
Jeffrey Katzenberg should be thrilled with Paramount's distribution team right about now. ...
Reviews for Dragon are very very good and Tub is getting better than expected notice Alice bids bye to the top spot for sure...
