Spidey Cast?

Remember how I noted that Josh Hutcherson's name was abscent from the latest list of contentenders to play the lead in Marc Webb's Untitled Spider-Man Reboot?

Well Blue Sky Disney says that both studio executives and director Webb have decided on Hutcherson to play Peter Parker in the new film

An offer was apparently made and has been accepted by the actor who won the role after several extensive test shoots.

Of said audition Hutcherson told MTV:

"You can't prepare for that, you know? It's so big," the actor told MTV. "To be considered on the list with some of the people I'm being considered with is like an honor. These actors are so good. I mean, it's such a big movie."

Aaron Johnson Anton Yelchin Logan Lerman Andrew Garfield Jamie Bell Alden Ehrenreich. Frank Dillane and Michael Angarano had all made the latest cut..
