Christian Bale is apparently going to star in the war pic "The Last Photograph" reports Pajiba.
The story revolves around a photograph that becomes the catalyst for a journey two men undertake through war-torn Afghanistan.
Kurt Johnstad wrote the script based on an idea by Zack Snyder.
The pair brought 300 to the big screen of course
Russian director Sergey Bodrov was attached to direct but Niels Arden Oplev ("The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo") is now said to be the frontrunner to sit in the big chair
