A week ago French filmmaker Pierre Morel opted out of directing the stalled remake based in Frank Herbert's epic sci-fi novel Dune for a "Ouija" board game pic.Now, Morel has dropped out of talks for that and has signed on to direct the alien invasion film "E.D.F." instead says Variety
The story centers on the assembly of a fighting force to repel aliens after three ships attack the planet and humiliate the world's governments.
Danny Strong is rewriting the script penned by Andrew W. Marlowe.
