The long gestating new film adaptation of Dune has hit another snag says Deadline
First Peter Berg had dropped out of the project, And then Taken's Pierre Morel stepped in with Chase Palmer reworking the script.
Now "the studio will be done with Dune by next spring if it hasn't firmed a production start by then. The rights holders won't grant another option extension..."
Paramount Pictures and producers Kevin Misher and Richard P. Rubinstein are going out to meet directors today to try and get the new movie set using Palmer's script.
