Eran Creevy ("Shifty") wrote and will helm the story of a London detective whose old nemesis, an armed robber called Red Diesel, reappears after five years absence. His return is heralds the uncovering of a massive conspiracy.
The film is described as "Heat"-esque with very large scope and level of action in scale ala Hollywood than the usual British gangster pic.
Deadline reveals that the film will shoot in July leaving plenty of time for McAvoy’s involvement with Joe Wright's “Anna Karenina"
