THR reports that Emma Watson is back in the lead role for "Your Voice In My Head".
Tanner Hall co-director Francesca Gregorini is calling action on the project now, after "Harry Potter film series" director David Yates reportedly vacated for personal reasons involving a family health situation. Yates and Watson wanted to postpone, but were over ruled. It was reported that Emily Blunt ("Looper") was gonna take over the lead but it appears Watson is back on board.
Emma Forrest's script is based on her own memoir and revolves around a young woman (Blunt) who, after the demise of her relationship with a nationally respected journalist, attempts suicide before being saved by a terminally ill psychiatrist.
Stanley Tucci was previously in talks to star as the psychiatrist, but it appears that he is no longer involved with the project.
The film will be produced by Academy Award nominee Alison Owen ( Saving Mr. Banks , Jane Eyre , Elizabeth) and Michael Benaroya ( Lawless , Margin Call).
At one point the studio was looking at big name stars to play the psychiatrist including Tom Hanks and George Clooney.
Production gets going on November 4, 2013 in New York
