The studio is apparently in the final stages of negotiating a deal with comics creator Mark Millar for a sequel that will continue the adventures of Wes (James McAvoy) that began in the first film.
A really quick review of film #1:
As a pure mindless action piece the original works way better than expected--thanks to McAvoy who sells it through and through...Angelina Jolie is wasted here but as always looks great holding a gun!!--Despite bearing little to the work that inspired it--I look forward to the follow up...
The sequel's story is said to going to be more global. The film does not have a set release date yet.
