Tragedy In War

Ugly Betty's America Ferrera will star in and executive produce the drama "American Tragic" reports Variety.

The story centers on a young war veteran (newcomer Ryan O'Nan) who sets off across the country with a buddy to find redemption. Ferrera will play his wife Melissa Leo plays his mother

Ryan Piers Williams directs from his own screenplay... Ferrera & Williams are a couple in Hollywood.

With tragic in the title I doubt things will end well...

Shooting begins in February in for a Fall 2009 release.
