Pitt And Cruise Will "Go Like Hell"?

The last time that Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise starred in a film together it was 1994′s Interview with the Vampire. Now, nearly 10 years later, THR reports that the duo may reteam for "Oblivion" director Joseph Kosinski's racing drama Go Like Hell.


Based on the 2009 book of the same name by  author A.J. Baime, that tells the true story tale deals with the decision by young Henry Ford II to challenge Enzo Ferrari's dominance on the Le Mans track in 1966. Ford challenged Ferrari with a car designed by racer-turned-car designer Carroll Shelby (Cruise)-the GT40 The pair, along with young visionary Lee Iacocca, beat Ferrari at his own game at the most prestigious and brutal race in the world. In the process, turning around the dwindling fortunes of his grandfather's company.

Pitt was actually circling the project back in 2009-2011--when Michael Mann was due to call action. It isn't known what role Pitt may play at this time.

Kosinski is currently supervising the writing with "National Treasure" duo Marianne Wibberley and Cormac Wibberley working on a new draft of the script.
