Based upon Chad Kultgen's novel that deals with the sexual frustrations of junior high school students and their parents in the Internet age. Kultgen received story credit on “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.”
Rosemarie DeWitt, Jennifer Garner Cameron Diaz and Adam Sandler also star. The young ensemble cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Olivia Crocicchia, Kaitlyn Dever, Ansel Elgort, Katherine Hughes, Elena Kampouris and Travis Tope.
Up in the Air and Thank You For Smoking director Reitman worked with Erin Cressida Wilson (Secretary) on the adapted script.
Reitman will produce with his production partner Helen Estabrook.
Principal photography has begun in Austin, Texas.
