The Hollywood Reporter says that Justin Marks ("Green Arrow: Escape From Supermax" "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li") is writing the film adaptation of a cult horror comic book "Hack / Slash."The story centers on Cassie Hack, a woman who travels to small towns across the country hunting homicidal maniacs and serial killers along the way. She is partnered on her journey with Vlad, a hulking companion who serves as her protector.
Never read the book but the premise sounds quite film-worthy...
Marks' skills are certainly in demand--as several drafts of the script have made the rounds prior to his arrival.
Music video director Todd Lincoln is going to be calling the shots on the flick.
