The suits at Lionsgate have moved up the release date of Frank Miller's big screen version of "The Spirit" by three weeks - from January 16th 2009 to December 25th 2008 according to Reuters.A presentation deemed "highly successful" at the recent New York Comic Con apparently led to the decision to move the flick up.
