Hanna Weg's script chronicles the marriage of author F. Scott Fitzgerald and schizophrenic wife Zelda .The tempestuous relationship, which unfolded in the high society of the Roaring '20s, inspired a few of the writer's work.
Keira Knightley will play Sayre.
Nick Cassavetes was previously attached to direct the film.
Production begins in March.
