Myriad Pictures and publisher Studio 407 are teaming up to adapt the upcoming horror comic book mini-series "The Night Projectionist" for the big screen reports Variety.



The story takes place on all Hallows Eve in a small-town movie theater, where an all-night Dracula marathon draws huge crowds of moviegoers who soon find out they are find themselves locked inside the theater, which is slowly filling with vampires.

The first issue hits stores next month.

Despite the fact that there is the potential obvious genre trappings here--This sounds like it could be a real winner. I am stoked by the premise so much so that I might even pick up the book...

407 and Myriad are also set to begin production later this year on an adaptation of the comic book Hybrid.
