**Variety reports that "Watchmen" made $4.6 million from 1,595 midnight showings on Friday morning. By way of comparison, 300 had a Thursday midnight gross of $2.5 million, notably on fewer screens. "Watchmen" is expected to top the $70.9 million opening weekend of 300.
I saw Watchmen yesterday afternoon...!!!! I am hoping to post a full review very soon....All I can say right now is that It was well worth the wait (and the drama of the court scuffle)
