Bloody Disgusting is talking casting for Machete, the Robert Rodriguez vigilante action film based on the Grindhouse faux movie trailer.The site says Michelle Rodriguez and Jonah Hill (Superbad) will play Luz and Julio, while Robert De Niro has a small role as 'Senator McLaughlin'.
As of now--Danny Trejo is the only actor cast for sure set to return as the gun-toting Mexican.
Does De Niro even do cameos? Hmmm...
Rodriguez and his long time pal Ethan Maniquis are co-directing the pic when they begin filming on July 29th.
