
Directed by Michel Gondry the film adapts the radio hero from the 40's and the TV hero from the 60's.
Seth Rogen stars and co-wrote the screenplay with Evan Goldberg.
Chou said: "It's an overwhelming experience to take on a role made famous by Bruce Lee. I won't try to be Bruce Lee's Kato -- I will try to bring my own interpretation to the part."
Gondry says: "Jay is incredibly unique and charming and fights like a wild dog. When I filmed him next to Seth, they had such great chemistry."
Stephen Chow walked away from the role last month.

In related news,"Battlestar Galactica" star Edward James Olmos told Hollywood Snitch that he has a role in the project.
The film is slated for release on July 9, 2010.
