Shattered Glass scribe Billy Ray.will pen the script for the untitled Somali pirate film he's developing says Variety.The true life story centres on Captain Richard Phillips (pictured), whose vessel was hijacked by four Somali pirates and was subsequently rescued by a group of Navy SEALs earlier this year.
The studio obtained the cargo ship captain's life rights and his upcoming memoir "A Captain's Duty"set to hit stores in May.
Ray is a great choice for this one.
