Building An Empire

Gary Oldman, Malin Akerman, and Milo Ventimiglia will star in the $9 million indie gangster flick "Criminal Empire for Dummy's" says Variety.

Ventimiglia (pictured) plays a charismatic young guy who went from a tragic childhood living in the ghetto to his current position as the head of a large multi-national organised crime syndicate. In flashback throughout the film he relates the do's and don'ts of maintaining a criminal empire.

Michael Clarke Duncan and Harvey Keitel co-star.

Cliff Dorfman (Warrior) penned the script and will make his directorial debut as well

Michael Roban, Dave Brown, Grzegorz Hajdarowicz and Paul Schiff are set to produce.

Production kicks off late March in New Orleans.
