Badda Boom!

Martin Scorsese's newest flick, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, will be shot in 3-D, his first in the format. Filming kicks off in London in June says Variety

I am more jazzed for what comes after that...!

MTV talked with Robert De Niro.who said that he and Scorsese are also working on "The Irishman," which could have a unique twist influenced by one of the director's favorites Federico Fellini.

"It's based on... "I Heard You Paint Houses"' It's a very simple, terrific story about [mobster Frank Sheeran ], who supposedly killed [Jimmy] Hoffa and Joe Gallo and so on," De Niro said.

"We have a script. And we have a more ambitious idea, hopefully, to make it a two-part type of film or two films. It's an idea that came about from Eric Roth to combine these movies using the footage from 'Paint Houses' to do another kind of a [film that is] reminiscent of a kind of ' 'La Dolce Vita..."
