Marvel has officially added actor Stanley Tucci to the cast of Captain America: The First Avenger--as Dr.Abraham Erskine In the comics Dr. Erskine was the German scientist behind Project Rebirth, the secret super soldier experiment that created Cap (Chris Evans).
Tucci joins Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Samuel L. Jackson and Neal McDonough for helmer Joe Johnston
Yay!! Been a Tucci fan since his days on "Murder One" ...The comic book is due to be released July 22nd 2011.
Meantime, Bleeding Cool reports that Jamie Bell seems to be the choice to play Peter Parker in Marc Webb's Spider-Man Reboot .
Bell was one of five finalists mentioned and until now though Josh Hutcherson was the name heard most often. The site claims to have "received repeated reports" that Bell got the part
