Oscar winner Christoph Waltz is being tagged to be The Lizard in the as yet Untitled Spider-Man reboot reports The Playlist. In the comics, Curt Connors is a Florida surgeon who lost an arm during a stint in the army. Returning to civilian life as a research technologist, he tried to re-grow his amputated arm using an experiment in reptilian limb regeneration. The procedure worked but eventually turned him into The Lizard.
Fellow "Inglourious Basterds" actor Michael Fassbender was also under consideration for the part, but he decided to play Magneto in X-Men: First Class instead..
