John McTiernan ("Die Hard," "Predator") has signed a deal to direct the action thriller "Shrapnel" says Variety. Evan Daugherty's screenplay focuses on two war veterans who hunt each other in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
Paul Breuls and Anthony Rhulen will produce the film which will be introduced at TIFF next week..
McTiernan's current legal situation may impact his doing the flick
Something could be known about that by early October.
