Director Burr Steers Poand the team behind "Sex Drive" Sean Anders and John Morris are the leading contenders to direct the stoner comedy We're the Millers says The L.A. Times.
The pic follows an ambitious veteran pot dealer who decides to create a fake family (the eponymous Millers) to move a large shipment of marijuana across the U.S. border from Mexico.
Dan Fybel and Rich Rinaldi wrote the latest draft of the script after Steve Faber and Bob Fisher ("Wedding Crashers") worked on it.
Steve Buscemi was attached to star in the film at one point
