“Hauntrepreneur” Goes to Paramount

Horror shingle Platinum Dunes looks to produce The Hauntrepreneur, which Paramount currently negotiates to distribute;

Scott Rosenberg penned the script for the feature, which focuses on a family that hires a strange man to help them adjust to their recent move. His method of help? Creating a house filled with odd and eccentric characters. Oh, and it’s a haunted house, hence the title.

Rosenberg is perhaps best known for action flicks like Con Air. According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog, the film is to have an eccentric tone, much like that of Tim Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
