“Now is Good” Assembles Cast

While representing the dark Lynne Ramsay-helmed drama We Need to Talk to Kevin at Cannes, BBC Films also assembles some projects for the future.

One such project is Now is Good, which will be the first feature from writer-turned-director Ol Parker.

He’s also adapting the screenplay from the Jenny Downham book Before I Die, which chronicles the desires of a terminally sick child to live a little. Paddy Considine (Submarine), Dakota Fanning, Jeremy Irvine (star of Steven Spielberg’s upcoming epic War Horse), and Olivia Williams are attached to star according to Screen Daily.

Parker recently wrote the script for John Madden’s upcoming British dramedy The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
