Grint & Pryce Wander Of In Sports Biopic

Harry Potter pal Rupert Grint and Jonathan Pryce have both joined the World War II soccer flick Wartime Wanderers reports The Guardian.

The story follows the 1939 Bolton Wanderers F.C. team who enlisted to active duty en masse: a rarity among professional footballers of the time and saw action in France, North Africa and Italy. Only one of the 15 team members, captain Harry Goslin, was killed in action.

Pryce will play the team’s manager, while Grint will play the team joker Ernie Forrest.

"Krod Mandoon" and "Meet the Spartans" co-star Sean Maguire will play Goslin. Matthew McNulty, and Bradley Walsh also star.

David Whitney (“Kandahar Break") directs from a script Jack Seddon and Tim Purcell adapted from Purcell's book.
