Kline Joins Industry Satire

Kevin Kline is locked and Nicolas Cage is attached to take on Charlie Kaufman's "Frank or Francissays Variety.


The story is described as a Hollywood-skewering satire about the online war between a successful but pretentious filmmaker (Steve Carell) who cheats on his wife and is in an online feud with a self-aggrandising blogger (Jack Black).

Kline will play a dual role first he's Richard Waller, brother of fictional filmmaker Jonathan Waller whose disaster film "Hiroshima" is the biggest grossing movie of all time. And then as an animatronic head of Richard that's loaded with advanced screenwriting techniques which his brother uses to have success with bland movies. Cage will play a famed actor known for commercially successful features like the comedy "Fat Dad".

Production is slated to kick off in January.
