The pic adapts author Matthew Quick's 2008 book of the same name
The story follows a delusional former high school history teacher (Bradley Cooper) who's just been released into the custody of his mom (Jacki Weaver). Believing that he’s only been away for a few months instead of the four years he just spent in a mental institution, the teacher sets about wooing back his ex-wife. but becomes involved with an eccentric neighbor (Jennifer Lawrence) with problems of her own.
Stiles will play Lawrence's older sister. Tucker has been in negotiations since last month to play Cooper's friend from the mental institution who escapes multiple times to visit his pal.
Robert De Niro also stars as Cooper's dad
Production kicks off later this Fall.
