It looks like that film version of 24 will finally go into production by next spring says Deadline
It seems that Mark Bomback ("The Wolverine," "Shadow Divers") is doing some tweaks of Billy Ray's script and will turn it in before the end of the year.
The TV show 24 followed a day in the life of counter terrorist hero on the run Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland)
The studio has five directors in mind to call action onthe film, a list that does NOT include the previously attached Tony Scott, and will sign one of them early next year.
The hope is to get shooting underway in April to fit star Sutherland’s availability for his new series Touch
