Gyllenhaal Is His Own Worst "Enemy"

Jake Gyllenhaal is in talks to star in the dual role in the dark and edgy thriller "An Enemy" says Variety.


Based upon author José Saramago's novel entitled "The Double", which follows a dysfunctional history teacher who accidentally discovers his exact double on a rented DVD, seeks him out and ends up turning both of their lives upside down.

Javier Gullón is writing the adapted script

Niv Fichman and Miguel Angel Faura will produce.

"Incendies" director Denis Villeneuve will make this film before taking on the "Prisoners" which stars Hugh Jackman
