The Short Archetype Gets Remake

Producer John Davis has picked up feature film rights to Aaron Sims' great sci-fi short "Archetype" in order to turn it into a full length flick says Heat Vision.

The original short folllows an eight-foot tall combat robot named RL7 that malfunctions during a mission, developing unexplained memories, causing its creators to investigate its odd behavior.



Aaron Sims will make his feature film directorial debut using newbies Guy Busick and Ryan Murphy (No not the creator of Glee) expanded adapted script.

Sims runs a company that specializes in previs and visual effects with their work seen in the likes of "War Horse," "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and "The Thing" prequel/remake.
