The biopic follows the life of Southern gothic novelist Carson McCullers (Jena Malone) with whom Williams was a longtime confidante.
Deborah Kampmeier's gonna direrct from a script she penned with Sarah Schulman
Blair Breard and Troy Johanson will produce the film
Shooting will kick off later this year.
