Landis JR, Lands "Me Him Her"

Variety reports that "Chronicle" writer Max Landis will make his film directing debut on the sexual identity comedy "Me Him Her".

The story is set in Los Angeles and follows three young leads, at least one of whom is struggling with their sexuality. Landis says this exploration will be done in "the weirdest, most surreal way possible… It's totally insane! The devil is in it."

Peter Saraf and Marc Turtletaub will produce the film.

Casting is currently under way.

Production aims to kick off by next Spring or Summer.

Landis has worked on the scripts for numerous projects in development--among them Chronicle 2, an adaptation of Frankenstein and an “edgy-family thriller” called Woogles.
