MacFarlane Spoofs The Old West Next

With the mega hit of "Ted" from this past summer putting him on the big screen map, "Family Guy" creator and future Oscar host Seth MacFarlane is already working on his next big screen venture- a "Blazing Saddles"-style western comedy says THR.

MacFarlane is planning to direct and star in "A Million Ways to Die in the West", a new script he and his "Ted" collaborators Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild wrote,

Using MacFarlane’s signature  adult humor, the script deals with just how dangerous and painful life really was in the late 1800s.

"Ted" producer Scott Stuber is set to reteam for the film

Production takes place this Summer.
